We provide all the key services needed to manage our clients’ captive insurance vehicles

Insurance management

We provide insurance management service across multiple industry sectors, with a large geographical spread.
We will take care of the day-to-day operations of your captive and our services include, but are not limited to, the formation of the captive vehicle, (including any initial feasibility study) accounting, underwriting, compliance, board pack preparation, management accounts, regulatory returns and company secretarial functions.

Feasibility studies

If you decide that a captive insurer could meet the insurance needs of your business, we will work with you, and your broker, to put together a feasibility study, which will seek to create the optimum vehicle and structure for your needs.
The report will detail financial projections, projected solvency calculations and capital requirements. We will analyse your loss data, in conjunction with your broker, to produce an optimised insurance programme that will meet your risk management objectives.

Our report will also identify the set up costs and regulatory requirements for your captive. We will be the conduit for all interaction with the regulatory authority and furthermore, if necessary, will arrange face-to-face meetings with them. We believe in meeting with you to understand your business and its needs and we will be your partners every step of the way through the establishment of your captive entity.

Cellular vehicles

We have an in-house cellular insurance company: Windward Insurance PCC Limited (“WIPL”): • Licensed and regulated in Guernsey • WIPL provides a ready-made, licensed and regulated entity to accommodate clients’ cells • WIPL allows you the opportunity to develop risk management strategies without the complexities and associated costs of a conventional company

Fiduciary services

We can also assist with the provision of fiduciary services through its subsidiary company, ARM Company Administration Limited (“ARMCAL”). ARMCAL is a Corporate Service Provider which holds a fiduciary licence and offers a range of corporate services, including the administration of holding companies, provision of a registered office and company secretarial services.
