Richard is an experienced senior executive with over 25 years’ experience in both the insurance and health services sectors. As well as leading our Small Business Solutions team and Consumer Healthcare teams, Richard has been integral in setting up our distribution channels, leading our business partnership relations for the last 20 years. When not working, Richard loves spending time with his family and has a real passion for cricket, having played in the Bradford Premier League for the past 35 years.

Craig is manager of the Small Business Solutions team who specialises in working with small businesses creating tailored health, wellbeing and risk protection benefits for his clients. With nearly 25 years’ experience in the employee benefits industry, Craig brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team. When he’s not working, Craig can be found spending time with his young family or out cycling and taking in the scenery of the nearby Yorkshire Dales. In addition, Craig is a keen football fan and continues to follow his boyhood club, Bradford City.

Alex specialises in helping small businesses look after the health and wellbeing of their people. Having worked at Howden Employee Benefits and Wellbeing for over 14 years, she has a wealth of experience within the industry and has been accredited with a Certificate in Insurance. Whilst not at work, Alex enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and live comedy.

Jemma is a highly experienced consultant with nearly 25 years’ experience in the industry and CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) accredited. Jemma really enjoys working with businesses to deliver health, wellbeing and protection solutions to suit their specific requirements. When not working, Jemma can be found either at the gym, spending time with her family, or out walking her dog.

Joe has over 9 years’ experience within the Health Insurance Industry at Howden and Cert CII accreditation, Joe is an experienced member of the team. When he’s not working, Joe’s hobbies include live music gigs, exercising and foraging for local produce.

John has over 28 years of experience in the Healthcare Industry. John brings a wealth of knowledge to the small business consulting team. When John is not working he continues with his quest of climbing all of Scotland’s Mountains over 3000 Ft. John’s other relaxation pastime is fly fishing on the River Wharfe in the Yorkshire Dales.

Michael specialises in assisting small businesses increase their employee retention and recruitment through employee benefits. With a degree in Economics from the University of Minnesota and over 30 years’ experience in the Financial Industry, Michael brings a wealth of experience to the team. When he’s not working, Michael spends time with his two teenage sons making them do homework and household chores, exploring the English countryside with his wife and attempting to run a 5K (right now it’s more like a fast walk).

Olivia has worked for Howdens Employee Benefits & Wellbeing for over 12 years now and brings a broad range of skills and expertise to the team, as well as being accredited with her Certificate in Insurance. She has a passionate and consultative approach that caters specifically to the needs of your business, helping you find the best health and wellbeing solutions for you. In her spare time, Olivia enjoys attending music festivals and running after her three boys (toddler, husband & whippet… usually in that order).

Robert has over 20 years in the Insurance Industry, 15 of which with Howden Employee Benefits and Wellbeing. He is also CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) Accredited. When he is not working, Robert enjoys swimming, general fitness training and walking and also enjoys the odd craft ale.

Sue has helped small businesses look after the health and wellbeing of their employees for almost 20 years. She is accredited with a Certificate in Insurance and when not working Sue enjoys keeping fit, spending quality time with family and going on long country walks.

Michael joined Howden at the end of 2022 and brings over 20 years of group risk experience to the team. Specialising in Group Life, Income Protection and Critical Illness, Michael adds technical expertise to a client-first focus. In his spare time, Michael enjoys watching his local rugby team, Dorking, pottering in the garden and playing a little village cricket when the weather is good. If the family join in, so much the better.
