Billed as the 'Finance COP', climate finance is top of the agenda at this year’s COP29 in Baku. Yet to date, the role of insurance has largely been a blind spot in strategic conversations around climate and nature finance. We are on a mission to change this and demonstrate that insurance is an integral part of finance and fundamental to the capital stack when it comes to unlocking climate finance across the transition.
