Howden provide specialist insurance solutions to the Health & Care sector and are now supporting the sector even more by becoming a bronze sponsor of The Care Workers’ Charity.

The Care Workers’ Charity is a national charity that supports people working in social care in the UK with financial and mental health support. Working in social care is a rewarding role, however it comes with its challenges. The CWC is a safety net for care workers and their families who are struggling and might not have the means to support themselves. A grant of £500 for a family means they can continue to heat their house over winter, repair their car to ensure they can get to work. Our support eases the stress for care workers and helps them to keep caring.
