Howden Driving Data appointed by broker to provide telematics Solution

Right Choice Insurance Brokers has appointed Howden Driving Data as the telematics provider for its Autosaint brand, a statement released yesterday (13 December 2023) said.
Founded in 2011, Autosaint helps customers secure cheaper premiums and become safer drivers through behavioural coaching and intervention.
The new partnership will see Right Choice leverage Howden Driving Data’s platform, which uses data science, artificial intelligence (AI) and claims data, to create predictive risk algorithms for Autosaint.

Howden Driving Data – part of Howden – is a telematics company that specialises in the use of behavioural and geospatial data to provide firms with loss prevention and loss management solutions.
As part of the deal, Right Choice will use Howden Driving Data’s feedback app, Howden Drive, and self-install on-board diagnostics, which will help customers to gain a better understanding of their driving behaviour.
Launched in the UK insurance market earlier this year (31 May 2023), Howden Drive has been designed to help lower insurance premiums for customers, optimise loss ratios for brokers and insurers and improve road safety.
