Heavy Equipment insurance

Heavy Equipment insurance can be tailored to fit any form of expensive machinery, whether it is owned, rented or leased. It is most commonly used in the construction, manufacturing and health sectors. We arrange cover for anything from diggers and dumpers, to MRI scanners and X-Ray machines (and everything else in between).

The policy covers electrical and mechanical equipment against physical damage. You can choose to insure specific pieces of machinery or all of your equipment, at one location or across multiple sites, including whilst at work, in transit, during dismantling or in 'knocked down condition."

It is an all-risk policy: it covers any risk or peril apart from those specifically excluded in the policy wording.

You can also tailor your Heavy Equipment policy to include the following covers:

  • Clearance and removal of debris
  • Additional custom duty
  • Airfreight
  • Express freight
  • Dismantling
  • Escalation
  • Natural disaster
  • Third-party cover.
