Cover for everyday use, travel and collections

Insurance for watches and jewellery is designed to protect high-value items both in everyday life and whilst travelling domestically and internationally. Cover can be arranged for a single item, such as a Rolex, a wedding band or an engagement ring, or for entire collections of watches and jewellery. Depending on the policy taken out, it is also possible to include authorised users and set limits for items that remain in use.

How does compensation work?

Each watch or piece of jewellery is insured for a pre-agreed value, determined on the basis of documents such as invoices, certificates or valuation reports. In the event of a covered claim, the insurer may repair, replace or substitute the item with an equivalent one, or provide financial compensation, in accordance with the terms set out in the policy.

Depending on the case, you may also be asked to provide photographs of the item, information on security measures and details regarding the use and storage of the items.
