Examples of claims

Facts: An employee working in the general services team of a company fell down the back stairs he was using to deliver boxes of supplies to his colleagues. The door to the main staircase normally used had been damaged for several weeks, forcing him to use the poorly lit spiral service staircase.

Items covered:

Costs of defending the company in the action brought by the employee for recognition of inexcusable fault.
Amount of social debts payable by the directors to make up for the company's shortfall in assets

Facts: A company specialising in digital marketing carried out advertising campaigns to promote a product marketed by one of its clients. An error in setting the budget allocated by the client for these campaigns resulted in over-spending. The client sent a letter of complaint to obtain reimbursement of the amount of over-spending it had to pay as a result of the error made by the company.
