If you are a registered participant with Riding for the Disabled Association of Australia (RDAA) - including coaches, volunteers, affiliated centres, or state bodies - and you have sustained an injury while participating in an RDAA-sanctioned activity (such as training, riding sessions, official events, fundraising activities, or other approved engagements), please follow the steps below to lodge a Personal Accident claim.

Personal Accident

For injuries sustained on or after 31 July 2025: 

Please refer to the policy wording for policy terms, conditions and exclusions. Please complete the online claim submission and submit it to Arch Underwriting at Lloyd's (Australia) Pty Ltd (Arch Insurance Australia) following the steps below:

  1. Please download the claim form - RDAA Group Personal Accident Claim Form
  2. Complete each section of the claim form. Incomplete claim forms may cause a delay in processing your claim.
  3. If you intend to lodge a personal accident claim you must notify RDAA prior to lodging your claim at [email protected].
  4. Please return your Personal Accident claim form and supporting documentation via email or post to the Personal Accident claims handler, [email protected]. This is also detailed in the claim form. 
  5. Arch Insurance Australia will confirm receipt of your claim form and advise whether they require further information.
Claim assessment

Please note, a claim number will be assigned and provided to you within 2 business days.  The claims team will complete a full review of your claim and provide you with a response within 10 business days.

  1. Please download the claim form - RDAA Personal Injury Claim Form (2022 – 2025)
  2. Complete each section of the claim form. Incomplete claim forms may cause a delay in processing your claim.
  3. Please return your Personal Accident claim form and supporting documentation via email at [email protected]
  4. Howden Claims will confirm receipt of your claim form and will lodge with the appropriate historical insurer.
