Australia’s workforce continues to face legislative change, the evolution of business needs and employee expectations, making the need for an effective people risk strategy more critical than ever before.
With health, safety and wellbeing at the top of organisational priority lists across Australia, how well does your people risk strategy protect your employees and enhance your business? A people risk strategy that encompasses the employment lifecycle of recruitment through to retirement is vital in ensuring an effective, productive and engaged workforce.
We partner with clients to deeply understand their people risk challenges and objectives. Our market leading team, specialising in workplace and non-workplace illness and injury, deliver bespoke solutions which support clients to navigate the complexities of the people risk ecosystem and evolve their business through enhancing risk maturity.

People Risk Health Check
In Australia, the costs associated with your workforce can represent as much as 70% of your total business costs. Of your total insurance spend, insurances relating to your workforce will typically account for 70%.
These are costs you can control, and a regular review of your workforce-related insurance programmes can ensure that you are minimising these significant business costs.
We can help uncover unmitigated risk factors in your business. We review premium, injury and risk trends and help you make a roadmap to improving the situation, both from an employee wellbeing and balance sheet perspective.
A unique service model
Howden People Risk is designed to bring an integrated and holistic model, powered by collaboration and data and analytics.
Howden has a truly unique service model, integrating all employee insurance and risk advisory services under one offering. It is holistic, client centric approach, with a dedicated point of contact, reporting on the same platform, making it easy for employers to get information across multiple jurisdictions.
Leading analytical capabilities
It is data driven, underpinned by Risk X, an interactive and customisable dashboard that provides real time access to the injury and risk trends driving premium and claims activity. It is a game changer for insightful decision making and will identify the best initiatives for our clients, using their own data.
Insightful and forward looking
Howden’s model targets activities across the entire insurance and risk cycle including Insight – prevention – placement – intervention, capturing data at each stage, and is built into our day-to-day service, so that each stage informs the next.
