Nick’s extensive experience and expertise as a specialist Financial Lines insurance broker spans back to the commencement of his career in 1992. Since that time he has served a broad spectrum of clients in relation to their Professional Indemnity, Directors’ and Officers’ Liability and associated Financial Lines insurance needs. This includes many longstanding clients in the accounting, financial services, insurance, legal and property industries, amongst others. Nick also has deep experience in advising both listed and non-listed companies in relation to their D&O and broader Management Liability insurance needs.
Nick brings the benefit of his deep relationships with key insurers in both the Australian and London insurance markets to clients. As Head of Financial Lines, Nick has overall responsibility for the team in the Pacific region and in that capacity ensures that the best of Howden’s extensive capabilities both locally and globally are delivered to clients.

His clients include many Australian Law Firms. In addition to his broking experience, he spent 10 years in underwriting with international insurance companies.

Seth’s expertise is in placement, servicing and claims management for financial services clients. His client list includes some of the largest financial institutions in Australia, UK and Europe, along with many boutique financial institutions and financial services companies. Prior to joining Howden, Seth worked at JLT/Marsh for over 14 years and Aon before that. Prior to moving to Australia in 2004, he was with Miller in London for 11 years.

During this time, he has specialised in Financial Lines insurance including Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Crime, Statutory Liability, IT Liability and Cyber risks.
Warren has deep experience in the design, placement and servicing of financial and professional lines insurance programs for a broad cross section of clients and industry sectors.
His experience placing complex insurance programs during times of market difficulty has helped him develop a truly ‘client first’ mindset. Warren is well placed to assist Howden clients navigate any challenging market conditions, placements and distressed risks.

Steve has joined Howden to build the Queensland Financial Lines business locally and brings strong market relationships and experience. He has served in many senior capacities leading and mobilizing large broking teams, creating client value and delivering innovation. His experience includes working with large construction and engineering, infrastructure and asset management companies who have diverse business interests, large employee workforces with complex and hard to place risks.

He had an exposure to underwriting a range of sectors in the economy, including a significant focus on financial services. His career led him to the broking side, where he has been working with a range of companies including the fintech sector, advising and placing D&O, Professional Indemnity, Combined Liability and Cyber policies. As a result, Jared has developed strong relationships with the leading underwriters in the sector, leveraging both his and Howdens background in the space.
Jared’s background in underwriting and broking provides a unique understanding of D&O programs for ASX listed entities, and financial institution Professional Indemnity insurance.

She is a member of the Insurance Institute of Dublin's council, previously assisting in education, networking and events for the institutes members.
Regional Cyber Leader – PacificWith over 9 years of experience in the insurance industry, Jack is a qualified broker specialising in cyber and technology risk solutions. He has built his expertise across major broking firms in both London and Sydney, with a strong focus on structuring complex insurance programmes for large global corporate clients.
Jack leads the Pacific region for the Howden Global Cyber Committee, delivering innovative risk management solutions and forward-thinking tools for our clients to utilise.
He continues to maintain close relationships with the Lloyds of London as a Lab Mentor, contributing to the development of new products and solutions into the marketplace. Additionally, Jack is an active member of the BIBA Cyber Committee, to drive and shape industry standards as a certified cyber insurance specialist.
Business Development Leader Financial LinesMarlien brings over 20 years' of experience with leading international and national professional services firms, specialising in business development, marketing and brand. Marlien is responsible for the client acquisition and growth strategy for the Financial Lines business at Howden Australia.
