International Benefits

Helping you protect your people – wherever they are in the world

Global talent, local needs

As more businesses in Indonesia expand across borders, the way we support employees must evolve too. Whether your people are working overseas, relocating temporarily, or living across multiple countries, one thing stays the same: they need reliable, flexible benefits that travel with them.

At Howden Employee Benefits, we help Indonesian organisations design international benefits that are compliant, cost-effective, and genuinely supportive—so your people can thrive, no matter where they’re based.

What international benefits can include

We build packages that reflect the needs of mobile teams across four key pillars of wellbeing:

Physical health

International healthcare insurance, access to global private GP services, maternity care, and security support.

Mental health

Virtual Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs), counselling, and mental health support for remote or relocating teams.

Social wellbeing

Help with cultural adjustment, support for families, and resources to ease transitions abroad.

Financial protection

Life assurance, income protection, and critical illness cover—adapted for globally mobile employees.

Who it’s for

Our international benefits support a wide range of globally mobile employees, including:

  • Expatriates on long-term assignments
  • Remote or hybrid workers living abroad
  • Business travellers and frequent flyers
  • Employees with no fixed office or residence
  • Individuals relocating for flexible work opportunities
  • Teams in need of richer benefits or access to international healthcare

We make global benefits simple

Managing international benefits in Indonesia can be challenging—regulations change, costs fluctuate, and local expectations vary. That’s where we come in.

With access to a global network and local expertise, we help you stay compliant, control costs, and give your people the care they deserve.

Our support includes:

Regulatory and compliance guidance in every market

Strong insurer relationships to negotiate competitive rates

Access to virtual GP services, 24/7

Pre-assignment screenings and cultural support

Tailored solutions for group leavers or retirees

Dual local-and-international cover where needed

Cost control that works

International benefits don’t have to mean international prices.

We work with you to contain costs and improve ROI, through:

  • Smart renewal strategies
  • Claims analysis and reporting
  • Targeted cost-saving measures
  • Scalable solutions tailored to your global footprint
