Howden Turkey Continues to Grow, Opens Its Eighth Branch in Antalya

Howden Turkey, one of the leading insurance brokers in the country, continues to strengthen its presence in Anatolia by opening a new branch in Antalya following the Konya branch it launched last year. With two offices in Istanbul—one of which is located in the Istanbul Financial Center—the total number of Howden Turkey branches has now reached eight with the addition of Antalya. Strengthening its footprint in Anatolia remains one of Howden’s key strategic priorities, with existing branches in Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, Gaziantep and Konya.

“OUR STRENGTH IN ANATOLIA SUPPORTS OUR VISION TO POSITION TURKEY AS A REGIONAL HUB”

Atınç Yılmaz, Regional CEO Turkey and Central Asia Regions & Howden Europe Executive Committee Member, noted that the company continues its growth initiatives in Turkey, emphasizing that they are already one of the country’s largest insurance brokers with eight branches and more than 250 employees. Yılmaz underlined that the opening of the Antalya branch is not only an important component of Howden’s strategy to further strengthen its presence in Anatolia but also supports the company’s broader vision of positioning Turkey as a regional hub. He added:
“Our new branch in Antalya will serve not only the city but the entire Mediterranean region by offering tailored risk analyses and insurance solutions to a broad range of clients—from SMEs to large enterprises—through our extensive product and service portfolio in areas such as property, health, trade credit, construction, and energy, in a region where the industrial, agricultural and service sectors are rapidly developing.”

The branch aims to create added value in the region by combining local, needs-based solutions with global expertise and technological infrastructure. “Our new Antalya branch will enable us to engage more closely with local dynamics while bringing our international experience to the region to create new opportunities. As we continue to grow across Turkey, we will also keep expanding our approach to insurance and risk management to reach more institutions and individuals,” Yılmaz added.

Emphasizing that Turkey is not only a growing market for Howden but also serves as a regional hub with a diverse product range and an expert team capable of exporting services from the country, Yılmaz continued:

“As Howden Turkey, we offer a wide range of risk management, insurance advisory and specialized coverage solutions to large and medium-sized companies, leveraging the strength of our international network whenever needed. In addition to our specialized insurance solutions in sectors such as industry and manufacturing, construction and engineering, energy and natural resources, marine and logistics, cyber security, agriculture and aquaculture, we provide risk engineering, claims and compensation management through our expert teams. We protect companies with trade credit insurance, executives with management liability solutions, and employees through personal accident, life and employee benefits products. With our international reinsurance access, we deliver world-class risk solutions while positioning ourselves not merely as a policy issuer but as a risk-managing, value-creating insurance broker.”
