Terms for submitting your Curriculum Vitae


Thank you for your interest in working in Howden (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"). By completing the form and submitting your resume, we are given the opportunity to review your CV information and, if we feel that it meets the formal requirements for a position that the company wishes to cover, we may contact you to provide any other required information or to arrange an interview appointment. By submitting your resume through this site, you acknowledge that you have been informed of the processing of your personal data in accordance with this Policy:

TERMS

Candidates declare that:

  • They provide accurate and true information.
  • They do not provide information on criminal convictions and offenses or specific categories of personal data (such as information on political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic or biometric data, health data, etc.).
  • They do not provide information related to a third party, unless explicitly authorized by the third party.

The Company processes only personal data that are adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes of the recruitment process. Depending on the particular processing activity, the processing of your personal data may be based on the taking of steps at your request prior to entering into an employment contract, the Company's legitimate interests in managing and safeguarding its recruitment process, and, where applicable, compliance with legal obligations. Where consent is relied upon for a specific processing activity, you will be informed accordingly and such consent may be withdrawn at any time.

Your personal data is collected and processed by the Company for the sole purpose of assessing your ability to fill an open position in the company, including, where applicable,

obtaining references from your previous employers or other professional contacts prior to the submission of a job offer.

Your personal data is collected either directly from you by submitting your CV at [email protected] in https://www.howdengroup.com/gr-el/stadiodromia or through third party affiliates collecting personal data from CVs you place in their CV's Database and then forward them to interested employers, including our company. Your personal data may also be collected from the references you designate, such as your previous employers, whom we may contact using the contact details you provide to us in writing.

Your personal data is not transferred to third parties and only persons, employees and partners who have been specifically authorized by our Company and who have committed themselves to confidentiality, have access to them.

References from previous employers

At an advanced stage of the recruitment process and, where appropriate, prior to making a job offer, we may contact references from your previous employers or other professional contacts in order to assess your suitability for the relevant role. You will be informed in advance before such contact takes place. We will contact only references designated by you and will use only the contact details that you have provided to us for this purpose.

The processing of personal data in connection with reference checks is based on the Company's legitimate interest in assessing the professional suitability, experience and reliability of candidates for the relevant position, in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Before relying on this legal basis, the Company assesses whether its legitimate interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the candidate.

We ask only about matters relevant to the role: performance, skills, cooperation, reliability and professional conduct. We do not request or record special categories of personal data or information on criminal convictions and offenses. By giving us their details, you confirm you have told your references that we may contact them, and we will give them the information required under Article 14 GDPR. We use this data only to assess your suitability, and we keep and delete it in line with this Policy. If any information could count against your application, you will have the chance to comment before we make a final decision.

When you send your CV applying for a specific job, and you do not proceed in the selection process, the company will retain your CV for twelve (12) months. After this period, your data will be deleted unless you have given explicit consent for inclusion in our Talent Pool.

If you have given explicit consent to be included in our Talent Pool, your CV may be retained for up to twenty-four (24) months for future vacancies that match your qualifications and experience. You may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

You have the right to request us:

  • Access to your data
  • To correct or delete your data
  • To restrict the processing of your data
  • Portability of your data
  • Denial of processing, which may take the form of withdrawing your consent to the processing of your personal data. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
