Hendricks GmbH appoints Marcel Braun as Managing Director

hendricks GmbH gets a new managing director. With effect from March 1, 2022, Marcel Braun will assume the role of CEO of the specialist insurance broker.

Marcel Braun comes from AXA XL, where he was Head of International Financial Lines since 2014 and responsible for the Germany, Austria and Southeast Europe region. He also oversaw the mergers of both XL and Catlin as well as AXA CS to AXA XL. Marcel Braun was previously in charge of the Southern Germany region as a member of the management team at Marsh GmbH. He began his professional career at the Allianz Group, where he held various positions for almost 15 years, including in sales and, in particular, for many years as Head of Financial Lines at AGCS. Marcel Braun has more than 20 years of financial lines experience, holds an MBA degree from the University of Augsburg in finance and economics and is co-author of the reference book "D&O Insurance of Corporations".
