Remuneration

Howden Germany normally receives a commission from the insurer for arranging and administering insurance policies on behalf of the policyholder, which is fully included in the insurance premium. Where agreed, Howden Germany will receive additional remuneration from the policyholder for handling major claims. Where appropriate, other arrangements (e.g. a fee agreement without brokerage or a combination of fee models) may be expressly agreed. In addition, Howden sometimes provides services to insurers for which Howden is remunerated by the insurers.

Howden Deutschland does not own, directly or indirectly, more than 10% of the voting rights or capital of any insurance company or parent company of an insurance company. Conversely, no insurance company or parent company of an insurance company owns, directly or indirectly, more than 10% of the voting rights or capital of Howden Deutschland AG.
