Transport

If you do not have transport insurance when sending goods and belongings from A to B, you may risk it getting damaged without sufficient compensation from the carrier.

Goods

Sending goods involves a certain amount of risk. A carrier picks up and delivers your goods to a destination, such as a customer. They can be damaged along the way. Who is responsible? The carrier is only responsible for a given amount per kilogram. That's why it can be very wise to take out transport insurance. It typically covers all damages that may occur and at full value.

Personal belongings and equipment

The same applies to the transportation of personal belongings and equipment. Especially if what is being sent is light objects, you will receive little compensation from the carrier if something goes wrong. Transport insurance is simply mandatory.
