Howden US appoints Ron Borys to lead Financial Lines practice

Miami, 17 October 2025 – Howden today announces the appointment of Ron Borys as Head of its Financial Lines Group in the US, as its new US retail business continues to attract market-leading talent. 

Based in New York, Ron will be responsible for building out this practice and creating tailored solutions for clients across Financial Institutions, Executive Liability and Cyber.

In this role, Ron will form part of the Howden US leadership team under CEO, Mike Parrish. He will work closely with Adam Codrington, Global Practice Lead, Financial Lines, as part of Howden’s global specialty practices. His appointment reflects Howden’s commitment to attracting top-tier talent and delivering client-centric, specialty-led solutions in the world’s most dynamic insurance market.

Ron joins Howden from Alliant, where most recently he led the Financial Institutions Industry practice, advising clients on program design, brokerage and risk consultative services. He has worked for other leading brokerages in the US, including Marsh and Aon. Ron has extensive experience working with large complex financial institutions and multinational clients.
