Howden launches US Trucking Practice to strengthen insurance and risk management support for trucking companies

New specialty team brings risk advisory, insurance broking, and claims advocacy expertise together to help trucking clients protect performance and manage volatility

London and New York, March 31, 2026: Howden, the global insurance broking group, today announced the launch of its US Trucking Practice, expanding its Specialty Transportation & Logistics vertical to better serve trucking companies across the country.

The practice will serve trucking and wider fleet operators across the transportation sector, supporting clients with a coordinated approach to casualty risk, fleet safety, claims outcomes and total cost of risk.

The launch underscores Howden’s client-forward strategy of building experienced specialty teams that work across disciplines to deliver clearer advice and better outcomes for clients navigating a more complex risk environment. Working closely with Howden’s broader Transportation & Logistics team, the Trucking Practice combines risk advisory & insurance placement with claims advocacy and practical risk support, including guidance on telematics and safety technology.
