Elizabeth Neumann Esq. appointed as Executive Vice President, Financial Lines Claims Leader, Howden US

Neumann will join Ron Borys to build national Financial Lines practice in the US

Miami, [3] December 2025 – Howden, the global insurance broker, today announces the appointment of Elizabeth Neumann Esq. as Executive Vice President, Financial Lines Claims Leader.  Neumann will be based in New York, and is yet another example of Howden’s recently launched US retail offering attracting top talent wanting to build a business in the largest and most dynamic insurance market in the world.

Neumann will form part of the US Financial Lines management team, led by Ron Borys. Borys was recently announced as the Howden US Head of Financial Lines, and together they will continue to build out a national Financial Lines practice as Howden US grows its specialty lines business for the benefit of clients in the country.

Neumann joins Howden from CAC Specialty, where she has spent the last two years as CAC’s US Financial Lines Legal & Claims Practice Leader. In this role, she was responsible for claims operations, client advocacy and loss recovery.  Before transitioning to the brokerage side of the industry, Neumann worked as a senior claims attorney for AXIS Insurance Company and CNA Insurance, specializing in Financial Lines claims for publicly traded clients and large financial institutions.
