Sport & EntertainmentSport & EntertainmentRobbie Henderson is Head of Sport & Entertainment for Howden U.S. Based in New York, he is responsible for driving growth across the U.S. while strengthening collaboration between the U.S., London and Howden's wider global Sport & Entertainment practice.
He advises clients across the sports and entertainment industry on complex risk transfer strategies and specializes in event cancellation, non-appearance, high-limit athlete and entertainer disability, prize indemnity, and the placement of large and complex insurance programs.
With more than 10 years' experience in sport and entertainment insurance, Robbie began his career at JLT in London before joining Howden in 2019. Since then, he has played a key role in the growth of the firm's Sport & Entertainment practice, helping shape its market strategy and supporting clients across the sector.
His experience spans professional sports clubs, governing bodies, players' associations, event organizers, promoters, venues, brands, artists and professional athletes.
Before entering the insurance industry, Robbie spent seven years as a professional National Hunt jockey, riding in more than 1,500 races and achieving 114 winners.

Marlene works alongside many of the world’s top performing artists and major event organizers. Distinctly known for her tireless work ethic and tenacious client advocacy, she is one of the most in-demand and influential figures in the global Contingency sector.
