Howden Maxi is proud to be part of an initiative that supports education for the visually impaired by donating old calendars to the Thailand Association of the Blind in Pak Kret. These calendars will be repurposed to produce Braille materials, which are essential tools for learning and skill development among visually impaired individuals.
Although expired desk calendars may seem useless, their sturdy paper can be transformed into Braille learning materials, offering visually impaired individuals the opportunity to gain knowledge and develop essential life skills. Additionally, donating old calendars helps reduce waste and promotes environmental sustainability by repurposing unused materials for meaningful use.
Beyond providing educational opportunities for the visually impaired, this donation initiative also fosters a culture of giving and sharing within the organization, contributing to a more inclusive and compassionate society.
We invite everyone to be part of this meaningful cause. Donate your old calendars and turn unused items into opportunities and hope for the visually impaired.
