Howden Care: what we do

Supporting you to protect your people

From their first day in your organisation to their last, your people are exposed to many health risks. Understanding and minimising this risk throughout their employment journey helps your people and your business to thrive.

Howden Care provides highly specialised injury and illness prevention and management solutions that deliver real cultural, financial and health benefits to your people and your organisation.

Why should your organisation make workplace care a priority?

People wellbeing: keeping your people healthy, happy and productive makes sense.

Safeguard your business: protecting you and your business from potential financial and criminal liability as a result of a failure to provide a safe and healthy workplace.

Financial impacts: reduce the financial impact of illness and injury on your ACC and other people risk insurance premiums.

Hidden costs: minimise the hidden costs of illness and injury – poor culture, presenteeism, absenteeism, talent acquisition and retention to name a few.

Much more than insurance

Our team are highly experienced Allied Health, injury management and safety professionals. They're focussed on developing customised solutions that deliver positive health outcomes for individuals, first and foremost. Because when you do that, the organisation reaps the benefit.

Using claims analytics to solve business problems

We can help you introduce initiatives to improve the health of your workforce and reduce the root causes of claims. For example, deep claims analytics could reveal a lot of your claims relate back to stress. We can help you review the situation and find solutions, helping cut unnecessary stress to improve productivity and wellbeing at the same time.
