Securing record claims payouts for clients

In 2024, Howden secured a €120m payout for B&C KB Holding GmbH – a record for a W&I insurance tower in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

The claim compensated B&C for losses relating to its acquisition of the Schur Flexibles Group, prompted by the discovery of irregular balance sheets and gross misconduct by former managers.

The tower included coverage from the leading W&I insurers RiskPoint Group and Liberty Global Transaction Solutions.
