Howden at FERMA

Meet us in Copenhagen, 9th - 11th October

Transitioning Together

We are at a turning point in history. If we are to limit the impacts of climate change, we must all make significant changes to the ways we live and do business. Historically, insurance has always been a vehicle for change and evolution, and we believe that our industry has a duty to step up again now.
Insurance can – and should – be a force for good. At FERMA this year we shared our vision of the industry’s future, and explored ways we can collaborate to build that future together.

The event saw over 1700 industry peers – risk managers, insurers and other brokers – coming together again for the first time after the pandemic. The energy was incredible! A perfect opportunity to bring a new perspective and our unique voice to this prestigious event.

Howden at FERMA

We were based on stand C3-105 - a lush haven of live plants, fresh pastries, and enlivening conversation. Sustainable and beautifully designed, our stand was designed as a breath of fresh air for the industry. And on Monday afternoon, we served Espresso Martinis for those who needed a little pick-me-up!

We also invited clients to a join us for a very special evening at the National Gallery of Denmark. We were thrilled to welcome over 430 guests, who shared some glowing feedback!

Talks

Our Founder and CEO David Howden presented twice during the event. First, he spoke about his 2030–2060 vision and the investment needed to transform our economy to avoid the worst physical effects of climate change. The second session was a lively conversation with the audience on future-proofing insurance for the risks of tomorrow.
