Shobana Bala

Shobana is an Associate Director in the Title Insurance team at Howden M&A. She specialises in the placement of title and legal indemnity insurance. Prior to joining Howden M&A, Shobana was previously a Senior Commercial Underwriter (Legal Indemnities) at First Title and more recently at Titlesolv (now Westcor). Shobana is a qualified commercial real estate lawyer having practised at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and also in house as Legal Counsel for Goodman UK Limited. Shobana has a LLB (Hons) from the University of Essex and an LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law from University College London. Outside of work Shobana enjoys socialising with her book club and planning her next holiday adventure!
