Student and pupil wellbeing

Our wellbeing services reach over a million students through their schools, colleges, universities, and accommodation providers

Specialist support, without the wait

The barriers to accessing mental health support for pupils and students can be a source of frustration for education providers.

In response, we've developed specialist services in partnership with independent health and wellbeing experts, Health Assured. These include counselling helplines, mental health clinical support and more, and are available on demand, 24/7 – including out of hours.

Whether you're an academy, independent school, college or university, we'll shape our wellbeing programmes around you.

This programme has provided invaluable support to our students along with advice and guidance for a variety of issues. This support is needed at all times and is not restricted to the college day, and that’s what makes this service so important to our students - it is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The service our students receive is prompt and it is reassuring to know they have a confidential help line to call any time day or night. The app is particularly helpful!

Pupil assistance programme

One in five children and young people are estimated to have a probable mental health disorder, according to a 2023 NHS England survey. Despite the importance of early intervention, mental health support resources aren’t often immediately available.

Our pupil assistance programme, developed with Health Assured, offers round-the-clock mental health and wellbeing support for pupils. Support is also available for parents, caregivers, and staff. It’s modular, so you can choose what’s right for your school’s needs and budget, including:

  • Mental health clinical support for pupils aged 11 to 18
  • 24/7 counselling helpline for pupils aged 16 to 18
  • 24/7 caregiver helpline for teachers, pastoral staff, parents, and guardians
  • Certified youth mental health first-aid training for those who work with, or support young people
  • Digital cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) platform for caregivers and pupils

We provide wellbeing support to over one million young people through their school, college, university, or accommodation provider.
