Richard is a specialist in insurance and risk programmes for larger corporate clients in the main charities and social care providers that by revenue would fall within the top 500 in the UK. He has historically (pre-July 2022) been involved in the leadership of the team for the services provided to these customers, which included - IT strategy, program delivery, partnership management, financials and some mergers and acquisitions.

Charlotte has over 32 years' experience in commercial insurance, starting in 1990 with 15 years in Commercial Underwriting followed by another 17 years working on the Insurance Broking side. For the last 8 years, Charlotte has specialised in large corporate care risks, working with a diverse range of care operators, from groups of elderly care homes to specialist mental health hospitals and anything in between. She is passionate about keeping clients at the heart of her work, and prides herself on delivering a quality service by really understanding the needs of her clients and keeping on top of what is happening in the industry. In her spare time, Charlotte focuses on her farmhouse renovation project, spending time with her ever-growing family and going for long walks and pub lunches.

Over the past 17 years, Nina has been managing large corporate clients across various markets to assist with scheme management. This has included the initial set up, holding scheme level underwriting authority, instrumental to the overall management of the performance. Nina has also managed a Bristol based Retention and New Business team for a large national brokerage specialising in the Health & Care sector.

James has worked in Broking within the care sector since 2013, assisting a range of care businesses from single care homes to national associations. He is passionate about working with and assisting organisations within the care sector, providing insurance advice and negotiating potential premium reductions for them. In his spare time, James loves to support his favourite teams Exeter City FC and Exeter Chiefs, as well as playing sports himself, practicing mindfulness and cooking.

Starting in Personal Lines and Property insurance broking, she moved to Howden in 2019, working with and supporting care businesses with their insurance needs. Kira enjoys building strong relationships with all of her clients, and acting as their trusted advisor. In her spare time, Kira enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Harriet has worked in insurance for over 10 years', starting off in general commercial insurance and gaining her CII certificates and diploma in insurance before moving to the Howden Health & Care Team in 2018. Harriet’s interest in policy detail and solving technical queries for her clients has brought her to her current role as Training and Development Associate, where she works with the team to keep product knowledge up to date and train new starters. During her time at Howden, Harriet has been part of the RESPECT committee which helps to support a diverse, inclusive and respectful culture in the workplace, and has also lead on several charity and fundraising initiatives for the Bristol office. Outside of work Harriet enjoys rock climbing and crafting, although most of her spare time is now spent looking after her 1 year old!

Pat has over 30 years’ experience in commercial insurance, starting with underwriting followed by 24 years in broking. Pat’s first passion has always been to look after clients’ interests and continually working to ensure broking solutions are available through good insurer relationships. In her spare time Pat and her husband are building their house and living on their land in a cabin, fitting in landscaping at the same time. When time permits she enjoys walking, travelling abroad and meeting friends and family.

Al has over 12 years’ experience in Commercial Insurance, and has worked for some of the largest insurers in the UK before joining the Howden Care team. His favourite part of the role is talking to the care teams hard working service providers to negotiate the best deals for clients. Al loves watching sports, particularly Football, Rugby, Cricket and Boxing.

Connor has worked in the insurance industry since 2016, starting out as a Broker in Commercial Construction and Property before moving over to the Health & Care sector. Since joining the Howden Health & Care team in 2021, Connor has been helping those in the Care sector obtain competitive and quality insurance cover, and specifically enjoys providing advice and building relationships with clients. Outside of work, Connor is a keen NFL fan and supporter of the New York Giants. He also enjoys travelling and watching live music.

Tina has worked in the insurance industry since 2019. Starting out in Claims Handling and New Business, she has recently moved over to Client Retention. Tina specialises in the Social Care sector, from small domiciliary care companies to large care homes, she works with them to provide guidance primarily on Commercial Combined Insurance packages. In her spare time, Tina likes to experiment in cooking up new recipes and re-work vintage clothing.

At Howden, Donna has progressed to her role as New Business Handler where she specialises in the Domiciliary Care and Care Home sectors. Donna prides herself on maintaining good customer relations whilst providing the best guidance and coverage packages to all clients. Outside of work, Donna enjoys ice skating and long walks with her two dogs.
