The Dental Plan

Simple and easy to manage and offers employees valuable benefits.  

  • Access to a nationwide network of  owned dental practices. If your employees want to use their own dentist they can.
     
  • No financial limit on Oral cancer claims. This benefit is eligible after six months continuous membership. However, Howden clients who switch from another provider, will be eligible to claim this benefit from Day 1.
     
  • If you currently have a group Dental Insurance policy through another provider, Bupa will guarantee to beat your renewal premium by up to 10% (terms & conditions apply and is subject to a maximum discount of 50% off Bupa’s base premium).
     
  • No forms, no fuss - Provided your treatment is covered and within benefit limits, when you visit participating centres in the Dental Insurance network they will settle the claim directly so you won’t need to ‘pay now and claim back later’.
     
  • Discounted treatment – Members can gain up to 20% discount off the cost of general dentistry, which could help make policy limits go further.
     
  • Specially available through Howden Employee Benefits & Wellbeing – Customers who opt for Level 4 cover will automatically receive Level 5 cover benefits at no additional cost.
     
  • Appointment guarantee – If your own dentist cannot see you or is operating a restricted service, an appointment with one of a Bupa dentist.
